| What brought us together to make music was a common
love for the mountains. What brings us together now is a gathering
of friends we've made through music. Cloudsplitter (tahawus) refers
to the mountains that cleave the sky or to those we look up to who point
the way to truth. That's the thread weaving through these songs.
Honest, hard-working people, as well as mountains that have endured
for centuries, give us lessons to learn and to live. We're grateful for their
